Since May 2023, Daan Kromhout has relocated to a new modern building located along the A4 near Rijsenhout, which has led to a growing need for an efficient and reliable Warehouse Management System (WMS). In collaboration with Vanboxtel, Daan Kromhout underwent a major transformation to modernize their warehouse processes.

The search for a Warehouse Management System that met their specific requirements led Daan Kromhout to Vanboxtel. The collaboration started with a strong connection between the two family businesses. Paul Jansen, Logistics Manager at Daan Kromhout, shared, "When we first visited Vanboxtel's office, we immediately felt a strong connection. Because of this, we decided to choose Vanboxtel as our partner for integrating the WMS and all necessary hardware.". Their desire was not only a WMS but a comprehensive solution to structure and digitalize warehouse processes. New WMS in the cloud
In close collaboration with Daan Kromhout's IT- and ERP partner, Vanboxtel ensured a smooth and seamless implementation of the new warehouse management system in the cloud. Purchase and sales orders are now seamlessly processed from the ERP system to the warehouse floor via Vanboxtel’s WMS along with corresponding handheld scanners. This not only increases accuracy but also efficiency within the warehouse. Thanks to cloud integration, all involved parties, both on-site and remotely, have access to real-time data and information. Furthermore, warehouse forklifts are equipped with truck terminals that provide drivers with instructions, such as the exact storage location of a product.
Additionally, Vanboxtel offers 24/7 support. Should an issue arise unexpectedly, our experts can immediately troubleshoot and often resolve the problem remotely.
Streamlined Warehouse Processes
Since the implementation of the new WMS, Daan Kromhout has observed positive changes in warehouse processes. Paul Jansen stated: "We are very satisfied with the new WMS. We experience smoothly functioning systems, and whenever we have questions, Vanboxtel is always ready to assist. Additionally, we regularly receive updates for the WMS." Daily operations are now running smoothly, and even the onboarding period for new employees has been shortened. This is the result of both technological improvements and excellent guidance from Vanboxtel, which has proven indispensable.
